If you have ever driven between Augusta and Atlanta you will find that there are not a whole lot of well light areas along I-20. But Thomson, GA is probably the most well light up area you are going to get. Its not a large town, but its adequate and this hotel is a great find!

It’s a decent place to stay, and the staff is super nice!nnI wish they had a bigger tv in the rooms but other than that it’s a pretty good place to stay!

I looked at several other hotels on this area online. This one claimed to be award winning so we reserved a room. The room costed around $75, with that price I was expecting a nice clean room. It was the worst room I have ever stayed in ever!!! Upon entry to the room, I noticed that the security chain was broken and held together with a piece of wire, the bedspread had several cigarette burns that went all the way thru. The coffee pot had a moldy filter left in it, to include mold and left over coffee in the pot. The headboard is falling apart, when I looked behind the end tables, they had nothing but dirt, sunflower seeds and who knows what else. Underneath the microwave was disgusting and there was some sticky stuff on top. The best part is the bathroom floor continued to have water on the floor, I discovered that it was coming from the toilet, because it was not bolted to the floor correctly. The room has dirt all over the walls and stains, the ac unit was covered in dust and the bathroom shower is dirty and the handicap rod is broken.nI brought some.of these issues up to the front desk, who apologized and I was grateful for that, and she offered me another room, unfortunately these rooms where worse than the one I was staying in. I will bring these other issues up in the morning and see if they will give me some of my money back. We will see, I am also going to report this and a complaint to the BBB, regardless of refund. This hotel is over rated and the claim of being the best hotel and award winning in my opinion is false. Do not stay here. Go down the road and get a better hotel. The only reason I did not, is because my husband is a disabled veteran and we are on a fixed income.

Friendly front desk workers. Rooms could use a little better cleaning.

The place seemed clean and was quiet even though near the highway. Great shower. I'd stay there again.
