We attempted to purchase a home, now I KNOW why it was on the market SO much longer than comparative properties.This Realtor/Brokernis difficult to work with and there is something unsettling about their team. If you don't feel good about your offer, TRUST YOUR GUT. The agent tends to work ONLY with a tight little group. They would not allow me to use my own attorney, THEY requested a higher earnest money deposit & wanted to hold it with her brokerage instead of with the closing attorney, (which they would not let me use), AND they wanted to push me to close earlier than my lender recommended BUT wanted to hold possession until several days after the close of the property. WTH!!!
