Chelos Dominican Barbershop

My barber WAS Kelvin, but not anymore...nnThere's no way I can recommend this barber shop to anyone else because of their unprofessional approach to customer service.nnI got my haircut there a couple of times before by Kelvin so I was a repeat, return customer. Since I had a busy schedule today I used their online scheduling from their website to make sure Kelvin was available at a time I could be there. The scheduling service gives me a text confirmation at the moment I booked it AND two more text confirmations as my appointment approached.nnI get there a few minutes before my schedule time and Kelvin has someone in the chair. Okay, no problem, I can wait a FEW minutes. Then Kelvin says this other guy waiting is also in front of me. What?!? But I made an appointment, which you confirmed three times by text. You don't take walk-ins or friends ahead of scheduled appointments. Unfortunately I couldn't wait for Kelvin to finish the current cut AND the next cut and keep my schedule. I had to leave, and Kelvin didn't apologize or offer any accommodation for someone who had clearly proactively planned for the time slot which was accepted and confirmed three times.nnMy advice to both Kelvin and the barbershop: Either honor your online appointments as scheduled, because people have lives to live so I assume that's what it's there for, OR get rid of the online tool and just take walk-ins first come first serve. Today Kelvin lost a good customer who tips well.

What I appreciate most are the measures taken to maintain a clean and sanitized shop; not to mention the superior haircut you get here. From what I’ve seen they all cut exceptionally well but I’ve only ever been personally cut by Chelo, the owner himself, and Paul. Can’t say enough about these guys and their ability. Oh, another huge selling point for me is the ability to make appointments online- super convenient and a welcomed alternative to the traditional wait-all-day-for-your-guy setup at most shops. Highly recommend

I would truly recommend this barbershop to anyone in or around the Atlanta area. I had been getting my haircut at Chelo’s barbershop for over 10 years, all barbers are very professional and courteous.nMy two sons and myself drive over 50 miles each way from Peachtree City just to get our haircuts at Chelo’s.nI must say the appointment system has made our life easier as we have a set time and date when we will get our haircuts; no or little waiting time. I believe this is an enhancement to their customer service and professionalism.nBest barbershop in Georgia!!!!!

I've been coming here for over 3 years and everyone does an excellent job. They take good care of you and will give you a very clean and professional look. They are taking great COVID preventative measures and its always nice hearing the music while you get your haircut. Can't recommend them enough.
