My friend and I went on this food tour in Midtown and enjoyed the food, cultural info shared and the guide's history.

This was my 1st ever food tour and it changed my life! It was almost a year ago, and this is a review of the procrastinator but better late than never right? Anyway, I went on the Atlanta tour Sept. 2018. I believe Rachel was the name of our guide. Everything about this tour was wonderful. I experienced restaurants I didn't know exsisted. The food was amazing and I really enjoyed the drinks. We even made our own cocktails at the last stop. The history is also another part that I enjoyed in the tour. This was such a positive experience, that I did the St. Thomas tour through this same company on my anniversary cruise and got my husband hooked on food tours as well. We went on another food tour in a city outside of the ones offered here, but we hope to get the other two cities that Flavors offers one of these days. If you are visiting a city like Atlanta or the other three places on a trip, I highly recommend this food tour. It's a delightful and delicious way to experience a place in just a few hours. It's especially great if you're just in town for a day or two as the couple that joined us in Atlanta, or as our trip to St. Thomas on a cruise port stop. Thank you Flavors for kicking off my new traveling hobby and basically turning me into a foodie!

We were excited to see Midtown and be introduced to some new great southern tastes.nThis tour was billed as gourmet food. We had a doughnut burger, tacos, shrimp and grits and churros. Two of the 4 restaurants could be considered upscale. Drinks were fine but not fabulous. Would have preferred small portions of great food and drinks. We read the description and reviews carefully before booking and were disappointed.

BACK TO MY OLD STOMPING GROUNDS!nI took my first culinary tour in Midtown Atlanta, the exact area where I lived in 1966, before the high-rise buildings and multiple lanes of traffic. It was a great way to enjoy delicious food and learn, for the first time, the history of Midtown. I discovered I had lived a mere block from the Margaret Mitchell house, which I did not know in 1966. I enjoyed the company of the other tourists and our guide, Donald, was exceptional. He made all the difference on this tour with his sense of humor and enthusiasm. We all felt comfortable asking questions, learning, and never felt rushed. Donald was so knowledgeable about Midtown and its history and food. All of the restaurants we visited were well prepared for our group of 10 and we never had to wait. The food was absolutely tantalizing, varied, and well paired with a beverage at each location. I highly recommend this tour and suggest you not eat anything after an early breakfast prior to going. You will definitely have more than enough!
