North Georgia Vacation Spots- Ellijay

We rented a cabin (fox den) as a Christmas gift with the sole purpose of it having a hot tub. When we arrived he hot tub was not working. We followed a few instructions to see if we could get it working but could not and so called for some help. They refused to come out the first night to fix it. They said they would be out the next morning. The next day when we returned to the cabin they had said they had been out, but we still found the hot tub not working. At this point we started talking about some sort of refund with them. They did get someone out to fix it on our third and final day but it only worked for 2 hours before it stopped working again. A refund was verbally promised but as of yet it has still not been received and we have stopped hearing from them. They tried to come across as professional but the customer service and delivery of promises was extremely lacking. Add to this that we had thermostat trouble, mice (mouse), and there were no curtains on the windows?!? In the end it was a bit less than enjoyable as it was suppose to be a Christmas gift.

I am very disappointed and unsatisfied with the cabin that I purchased as a Christmas present. The main reason I rented Fox Den was because it had a hot tub. When we got there on Friday evening we noticed that the hot tub was not at temperature. We read the instructions that were left in the cabin and gave it a couple of hours to see if it would reach a higher temperature. We ended up calling the number and they gave us a few more things to try (which did not work). They said that they would come by the cabin on Saturday to fix it. Saturday evening we came back to the Cabin and the hot tub was still sitting at 67. We called the number again and were told that the maintenance guy had been out. We told them it still was not working and we spoke about a refund which they had acknowledged but they would still send someone out on Sunday. Sunday afternoon we got a call saying that they had gotten the hot tub working and that they would call me back to talk about the refund. The hot tub worked for two hours and then the temperature began to drop again. On Monday morning at 8:20 our power went out in the cabin and ended up leaving earlier than planned. I called the person I spoke to on Sunday to let him know and left a message explaining the situation. He never called back.nWe also had an issue with the heat and there were no curtains or option of closing curtains on any of the windows.

The property is very beautiful, comfortable and with a breathtaking view. There are many hiking trails nearby, appropriate for all ages and you can go beer tasting, wine tasting, kayaking, etc. We had an amazing time there. The house had a game room, jacuzzi, and all the comforts. When we left, we forgot our daughter's teddy bear. I called, got an immediate response from Dominic and he mailed it to us the next day. This is a lovely vacation home and I would highly recommend it.

The cabin and area were beautiful. Everything we needed was already there except the food. Will definitely rent with NG Vacation Spots again!

We stayed at Skyfall Lodge with North Georgia Vacation Spots. The cabin is beautiful and the nature is nothing short of amazing. However, inside the cabin there are many issues.n1. The toaster does not work.n2. The blender was filled with dead ants and mold.n3. The instructions for the hot tub did not match the model of the hot tub. This left us to figure out what to do in order to enjoy it. We couldn’t figure it out until the last night of our stay.n4. The instructions to log into WiFi were incorrect.n5. Only two rolls of toilet paper were left for us.n6. There are 6 people staying here and we can only open the doors if the key is present. Leaving us to have to tract down the key in order to exit which is dangerous in case of fire. Or we’d have to run down to the basement in order to get out.n7. Cob webs.nnThe stay was good only due to the people I brought with me. Hopefully this review will help make other’s stay worth while. :)
