I would say that Bright Futures is a good school for kids. Depending on how they act. For me I wasn't a good student, but by going to that school it helped me get more serious about my work and grades. I'd say that they have the right amount of resources to give you a head start. Depending on what you want to do in the future determines if you should stay or not. If you want to study abroad or not go to college I would recommend changing schools during the summer of 9th grade. Not because they are bad but because you don't want your credits to mess up. I would always hear that public schools are so bad but when I finally left to go to a public school I saw that there were so many opportunities to choose from like debate, ROCT, band etc. So if your child has like listening problems or anger issues that school will get them right lol. The teachers there are great and they will help you if they see that your willing to change. So I can promise you that your child will change a lot in a good way. Fair warning though, although it is a christian school it has its ups and downs. Make sure you know who your kids hang around at that school. Simply because its easy to get caught up with boys and drama there. In the 9th grade it was hard because I was the only girl and I had to adjust and take in all of the negative comments etc, so make sure that you are caught up with what goes on in that school. Also I recommend that you drive them to school. Please don't take the bus and if they do make sure your child sits in the front.
My child has been attending this school for the last three years. Traditional school wasn't challenging her. The owners of the school, Philip and Gail ensures that the students are well provided for academically and socially. Socially, the kids are given the opportunity to participate in field trips that equip them for life which are not available at traditionally schools. Academically, the classroom are small and the teachers are able to devote more time with them. One of the best thing I love about this school is the care provided the students once they graduate. The school continues to support the graduates financially and socially once they enroll in post-secondary schools. This type of support is needed and welcomed. Thanks to the team at Bright Futures Academy for all you do for our kids.
If you want your child to have a superior education, a small classroom environment where they will feel safe and secure, then you want them to attend Bright Futures Academy. At this school your child will be pushed to be better, do better and to excel. The founders, principal, staff and teachers love the kids and feel called by God to serve here. What more could you ask for?
My son attends this school I love how the staff generally cares about what's best for the kids ,there are no perfect kids but they take the time out with them .Mrs Gail and her Husband Phillip the founders of bright futures create a beautiful bond with these kids they are all like family as well as the rest of the staff. It makes you feel comfortable to turn your kids loose to such a great group of people ... The kids have really put in the work to get to the next grade ,not be placed...THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH BRIGHT FUTURES FOR GIVING ME HOPE....
Very strict and structured environment, but loving at the same time. Works well for kids and parents who are fed up with the bedlam of the local public schools, but students and parents must be ready for the rigidness. I personally LOVE IT!
