Very welcoming place and very helpful and really feel the words about God

Great family friendly atmosphere. Come dressed as you want. Most folks dress casual some sports jackets. Upon my first visit I never felt overly greeted. In other words tons of people didn't come up and say Oh, you're new, where are you from. Yes, a few folks came and greeted me but it was not the hurry please join our church. If you want to meet the Pastor he's always there at the end of the service until he has spoken to the last person or family. He makes it a point to know you as person. Not a number on the roster. He is a straight shooter. Not a fire and brimstone you're all going to hell. But at the same time you most definitely and clearly hear the message of grace and salvation at every service. The invitation is always offered at the end of every service. There's something for everyone. Singles, couples, children, young and seniors, widowed and widowers, married or divorced. The Pastor is a preacher, teacher, counselor and awesome singer. The Family Pastor is a giant of a man. His family walks the walk and talks the talk with a family of 5. The choir director and choir rocks!!! From traditional hymns to timely Christian music. Strong well informed bible study class leadership is formidable at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. So you get great preaching, teaching, music and fellowship in a casual friendly environment. Bible studies start at 930 Am service at 11. Stop and get a cup of coffee, hot chocolate, tea or water at our welcome center before class or service.
