I had been struggling with a recurrent low back injury and associated pain for about two years, which was really beginning to limit my functioning not only at the gym but in normal, everyday life. Traditional PT, home care, and massage therapy had essentially failed me. It was in March 2020 when, after months of being suggested to me by gym acquaintances, I finally got in touch with Ravi.nnMy only regret is that I did not contact him sooner. You would be hard pressed to find a more accommodating, knowledgeable, professional, and all around affable physical therapist. Our working relationship began in March 2020, at the very start of the Covid pandemic. So needless to say, there were unique challenges that were present from the outset in terms of establishing a relationship and tackling my back problems. But Ravi made these hurdles seem relatively minor as we began tackling not only my current back problems and symptoms, but what my fitness and activity level was in the past, and how my body, specifically, moved in general, to try and address the root cause.nnRavi exercised great patience as I no doubt rambled on about such a general and common problem. He took the time to ask questions and really understand where I was at not only in my fitness journey, but also with the specific problems I was having with my low back, what movements really irritated it, etc. From there, he carefully crafted a therapy routine that was unique to my specific issues and accommodating for me to actually complete while at home during the pandemic. He has always been available for additional questions and concerns, and has always been great about reaching out and checking in with me outside of our routine appointments. He genuinely cared about my well being outside of being just another patient.nnOnce we were able to finally meet and have a couple of in-person sessions (with proper safety protocols in place!), I was able to benefit even further from Ravi's full arsenal of knowledge and experience. Ravi continued to customize and change my PT routine to match my comfort and pain levels, which is something I greatly appreciated and continue to benefit from. His approach was not static, it was dynamic. I still use many of the routines and movements he taught me to this day.nnAs of now, in March 2021, my low back problems have remained largely quiescent. I have been able to move back into unilateral exercise movements (which used to be a big irritating factor), heavy weight work, and am running again. And given what life has been like during a pandemic, being able to exercise has been one of the only activities to keep me sane, and I am truly grateful to Ravi for making sure that I could stay active through all this.nnWithout question I would recommend him to anyone for anything from major issues to routine maintenance. He is truly great at what he does, and a great person as well.

When I came to Ravi I had multiple nagging issues. Left shoulder and left knee pain, with chronic back issues as well. Through treatment and 1-on-1 coaching we were able to treat my shoulder and knee pain all while managing to keep my back issues from flaring up.nnI didn’t have to take any time away from working out. Instead we developed a plan to fix my pain while still pushing forward with competitive fitness.nnAfter taking time to work on my base levels of strength and mobility, I’m in better shape and more adequately prepared to tackle the strain I was putting my body through.nnI highly recommend Ravi to anyone!

Dr. Ravi has been my in person and virtual physical therapist and coach for over one year. I initially sought Dr. Ravi’s services for a hamstring injury. He was thoughtful in his approach and used dry needling, blood flow restriction therapy, and created a weight training program specific to my injury. I also worked with Dr. Ravi to resolve a shoulder injury where he used dry needling and prescribed in home exercises. I also benefit from Dr. Ravi’s online programming services. He programs specifically to my goals and takes my past injuries into consideration. Dr. Ravi knows I lead an active lifestyle so I appreciate that whatever the issue, his goal is to always keep me moving. I highly recommend his services!

Dr. Ravi is a caring PT and coach. The programming he provided addressed both my injuries and strength goals. He built a program that worked with my hectic schedule, and he was supportive and responsive when my training and PT priorities shifted.

I had been attempting to work out at home as a result of the pandemic using a variety of tools (youtube, nike training club, online workout challenges) but noticed that my hips and low back were always tight and no amount of yoga or mobility exercises seemed to be helping my cause. As a result, I found myself hesitant to do some of my favorite exercises like deadlifts. I reached out to Dr. Ravi who took the time to listen to the issues I was having and then providing me with his recommendations, which started with some at home mobility exercises to increase strength and flexibility in my low back & hips. The exercises alone have been extremely beneficial in reducing my back pain and certainly increased my mobility but it’s through the remote programming that I’m finding I’m reaching my goals while at the same time preventing any further aggravation of my back & hips.nThe remote programming is a game changer! Dr. Ravi creates workouts every week that are designed around my goal of gaining strength while also taking into consideration my back/hip issues. He tailors the workouts using the equipment I have, which is awesome since I started out with limited workout gear. Plus, if ever there is an exercise that causes me discomfort or pain, I can always reach out to Dr. Ravi and he will swap that particular exercise out with one that works better for me or have me do the exercise differently so it’s more comfortable. The workouts are all available in an app which I’ve found to be a wonderful tool. It allows me to chat with Dr. Ravi via a messenger tool so I can tell him things like how much I hate him for throwing in star planks on 2 of your 4 workout days. I can also send videos when I’m questioning my form on a particular exercise.nOn top of the remote programming, I have regular person visits with Dr. Ravi so we can discuss what’s going right and what’s not. He also always performs manual therapy to help me increase my range of motion and release any tension that may have built in any of my problem areas. I’ve even had him do dry needling on me a few times.nIt’s been a few months since I started seeing Dr. Ravi and I cannot be happier with my decision. I’m seeing the gains in my strength all while only working out 4 days a week! If you’re struggling to reach your fitness goals as the result of an injury or need assistance getting back to 100%, go see Dr. Ravi!
