Had am amazing time with friends! STILL a favorite place of ours to visit any given day of the week for the simple fact that there is ALWAYS something to do!!! So much great talent in the area as well.......

Marta is the public transportation system for Atlanta. It's not great but it can be useful for tourists and locals alike. It is more efficient the closer you get to the city and in disadvantaged neighborhoods. On the north side further out there is less scheduled service but you can get around if you have to. The most efficient times to travel are M-F, 6 a.m. to 9p.m. Most trains run to 1:30 a.m. and buses to around 12. A good phone app to install is Marta on the go. Saturday and Sunday you can get there from here but check your schedules. Recommended is the 7 day all you can travel pass for $23.75. For seniors or the disabled, a special fare card can be acquired at the five points station Monday thru Friday, 9-5. This allows for $1 fares one way. To save even more, buy 20 trips for $17... that's basically 3 free trips. This card is good for 3 years. Be sure to bring proof of age or proof of disability.

I seem to only come to this station for big events, and God as my witness, I'll never come here again. It is as insecure of a cluster as anywhere I've ever been. If a bad guy wanted to do bad things, you'd be toast. They have absolutely no control over how many people pile into these trains, and the delays can last upwards of an hour. We were here for the debacle after the National Championship game, and thanks in no small part to the ineptitude of this station, I was 2:00 AM getting to the station on the north end of town where I parked. Word of advice - drive, park, and use SpotHero to find a parking lot in advance.

Five Points is the busiest transit in Atlanta. And on the weekends doing the Spring, & Summer time, just enjoy the sites around the area and believe me you will see a show of laughter from the people around there.
