I went in to collect CD funds as a beneficiary of a deceased relative. This was after a long process of my family submitting all the required paperwork to Chase Bank prior, and I had all the required documentation with me. I scheduled an appointment and waited there for about 30 minutes when the banker, Sam Rosenbloom, tried to figure out how to provide my CD funds. He had many issues, but in the end, told me that I should be mailed a check within 7-10 days. I get a call 13 days later, and Sam said I actually need to come back in to collect my check at the teller. I went in the following Saturday, arrived at 1:45pm (15 minutes before close), and the teller was prematurely closed with the security gates locked. This Chase Bank location is incompetent and extremely frustrating to deal with. Avoid at all costs!
Phillip Battle, Samuel Rosenbloom and the Branch Manager were exceptional. I was going to close my account because of such poor service at Chesire Branch location. This branch turned things around with the level of professionalism and service that I expect. This surly should be a training branch for other locations.
Never in my life have I had such consistent and terrible interactions with one banking branch. The employees neglect to take care of their customers and can't even file a claim correctly. After weeks of waiting on stolen money, I come to find out the claim was never filed although I clearly saw them do it. I cannot imagine a more terrible bank and may god have mercy on the souls of anyone who goes there.
