I have been getting my taxes taken care of through Advance Tax Services for about 3 or 4 years now and I've never had a problem with them. Once I had to drive to Atlanta to pick up my check and the atmosphere was typically like any other tax preparer business, I was greeted and told to have a seat and someone would be with me shortly. The women of Advance Tax Services were very professional in my opinion. Once I left the business to go home I realized I had forgotten my ID so I called back to check if I had left it there and none the less I did. They checked and found it with no hesitation at all, great customer service I must say.
This is the absolute worse place in the world to get your taxes done! They are scammers and do stuff under the table that you have no idea about and have no customer service what so ever. Shaquala Smith is the worst of them all.. She has no real knowledge of the job and tried to charge me an extra 500$ on the side on top of the 600$ that went to the company before i even got my money back! The day i was called to come pick up my check Shaquala Smith literally held my check she would not release MY money to me because i told her i was not paying the extra 500$! She would not even give me my check and insulted me because i would not comply. The others in the office had the same attitude with most customers and were extremely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and NEVER let them scam you!!#!
