Elizabeth Andrews High School

Where sould I begin, My daughter attended this school, due to experiencing bullying in her home school and had to drop out of the 10th grade, she sat out for a year, and then decided to attending Elizabeth Andrews to make up the credits. Coming from the state of Virginia, the graduation requirements were slightly different, so there were additional things she needed to complete for graduation. Ok, to begin, totally not paying attention to her transcripts, she ended up wasting almost an entire 2 semesters, repeating classes that were already taken in her 9th grade year, the credits received for them in Virginia, were not equivalent to the grading scales here, and she lost out, out of the 3 years attending, the counselors have always placed her in classes that werent needed for graduation, it was basically not having the classes she did need available, due to over crowding, and wasting time, everytime she got close to graduation, they would pull it right from up under her, stating she needed an additional class to graduate. Ok finally, 12th grade year, my daughter is now 22 year old. She was taking 2 Pre Cal class, and a Advanced Algebra course at the SAME TIME....and another course, and working a part time job. She couldnt handle the work load, and failed the Advanced Algebra course, due to not getting her assignments done...Granted she is responsible for passing this class, but it was a class that was tossed at her, again at the last minute, when she had all the time in the world to complete in the beginning of her start of attending this school. Ok, to top the last final SCREW to my child. She paid her senior dues, and received her Cap and Gown ( Thats how close she was to graduating), I told her to go get a refund for the dues, and use it towards her summer school course, which is $500 (SMMFH) FOR DEKALB CO. Welp, she misplaced her receipt which was a handwriting receipt from a receipt book, meaning there is a copy available, and These bastards, would not return her money. They have never tried to help, no compassion, no real interest in helping these kids get what they need to move on. I should have home schooled her, which GCA (Georgia Cyber Academy ) is one of the best programs ever. Because this school, and dekalb co as a whole, is a straight FAIL....As they have been for the past 20 yrs......
