I've moved to va and I cant get them to close my case both i and a caseworker here in va have tried to get them to close it so I can get medicaid where I am and they won't respond or do anything ive put it several case close requests on ga gateway and they are just ignoring it

Worst office to get a hold of, claimed that I missed a phone interview,but they never called.Been trying to call for days ,only to reach a full voice mailbox.Either they don't check their messages or have their calls go straight to it,so not to answer.Very unprofessional.

I have been unemployed since March 2020....I applied and began receiving food stamps in April.....I am receiving unemployment....I had a review last week between Wednesday and Friday...February 2, 2021, I received notification (NEVER HAVE I EVER received any type of notification of a decision from DFCS this quick) that my food stamp case will be closed because of my income...?????? I am still unemployed....I have a new case worker, Perrymond and I can NOT leave a message because voicemail is full and I've been calling back to back and of course no answer. Are they on vacation????? I don't know who the supervisor is but I have called random DFCS numbers and left messages with hope that someone will eventually get back to me. I have three kids that depend on me, soooooooo.....Maybe the news channel will have better luck.

Sometimes you get the wrong represented it but Jada M that works as a customer representative is the best they should hire more people like her she’s kind patient and understanding that everyone it’s not computer literate and we all need help sometimes Defac has change my opinion on customer service after speaking with Jada M from Dekalb Georgia If you ever had to get a customer service representative she would be the best they should give her a raise She’s very positive and patient and knows her job

I had the absolute worst interview with Q. Burnett case worker number 702439. She was absolute hell rudest person ever. There is document I have to have that says my unemployment has been exhausted. However GA dept of labor haven’t been doing their job either. So they just stopped my payments with no letter. I haven’t received benefits in over 2 months. I explained this to her. And she said she couldn’t help. Didn’t even try. She told me I would continue to be hungry and laughed and hung the phone up in my face. I’ll be moving forward to finding her supervisor. But these are the kind of people you have “helping” the less fortunate. She also told me her supervisor wouldn’t call me back.
