Cape San Blas Get Away

It's been almost a year since we stayed at Good Fortune. It is impeccably decorated and feels like a home away from home. Every detail of this house reflects the tender loving care put into building and maintaining it. It was our first time visiting the gulf coast and found it to be so serene and relaxing. I highly recommend either of Carrie's houses - Beach Camp or Good Fortune - both are fantastic locations - walking distance to the beach - with views that can't be beat.

We had the joy of staying at Good Fortune in August of 2016. The home is amazing. You have no need to pack all the extras because this home has and supplies everything right down to the boogie boards! The beach was beautiful and we loved being able to have our beagle with us. We hope to stay again in the future.

I had the good fortune of staying at Good Fortune for a girls' weekend recently. We had an amazing time. This house is beautiful, comfortable, well thought out, well stocked and not a tacky beach decoration in sight. It has an amazing veiw of the gulf. Enjoyed coffee and drinks on the deck. We loved being able to walk to the State Park. We were lucky enough to be there during the Monarch butterfly migration and there were butterflies all over the dunes. We enjoyed going on our stand up paddles boards in the bay and in the gulf and even got to see dolphins close up! We enjoyed all the nature that Cape San Blas has to offer and the comforts of this home! Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed with another family at Good Fortune (4 adults + 4 tweens/teens) in September 2015 and had the most wonderful and relaxing time. The beaches are absolutely beautiful and quite secluded. Good Fortune is spacious, clean, and well appointed with easy access to the nearby state park on foot or bike. The views of the beach and surf from the large second floor deck are amazing. We will go back to Cape San Blas and our search for the perfect place to stay will start and end with Good Fortune.

Both vacation homes are beautiful and most importantly they are designed with vacations in mind! Rooms with ocean views, balconies for relaxing and capturing breezes, and comfortable spaces to enjoy with family and friends. The homes are stocked with everything one needs - from kitchenware to internet to great linens. I can’t wait for our next beach vacation!
