Deerwood Orthodontics - Menomonee Falls

I'm a retired school teacher and have always wanted to try Invisalign. Dr. Schneider and his staff have been WONDERFUL. I'm so excited that I started the process -- it was worth the wait!

New leadership here has resulted in much better communication. They take the time to reach out to patients to make sure concerns are met and the treatment is understood.

This place is horrible with communication. I called my 1st time in December they never called me back. Call again in January and still no call back. Finally in February I left a upset message and someone finally called me back. Yay! finally an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment no one was there, the office was closed. I totally get that COVID 19 just started to affect business at that time but they could have at least called me to cancel my appointment. This has been a waste of my time.

I couldn't recommend Deerwood less! I would give them 0 stars if it were possible. The majority of their doctors and staff are rude, dismissive, and have no respect for your time or concerns. I went there for phase I of my orthodontic treatment, and there were numerous appointments where I would be called back after checking in, only to sit in the chair for over 45 minutes while the technicians would be dilly dallying and talking to each other about things as irrelevant as buying new appliances for their house. The amount of extra school I missed and work my parents missed definitely accumulated to the hours! When it came time for phase II, their recommendations started seeming more and more unnecessary. We went to another ortho (PHM Orthodontists) for a second opinion, where they quickly confirmed what we thought--Deerwood was suggesting unnecessary and extra lengthy treatment options for money. Our insurance covers Deerwood better than any other practices, so we thought maybe we could just finish up phase II and went back for a consultation for Invisalign. We were hoping that Invisalign would be an option instead of their original treatment plan, because as a senior in high school braces weren't much better than crooked teeth. Again, they were dismissive, even as we were just setting up the appointment on the phone. You can imagine they were even worse in person. Right off the bat, they told me I wasn't a candidate. We transferred to Bubon Orthodontists, where they said I was a great candidate for Invisalign! I have had it for 6 months so far and my experience there has been INCREDIBLE! Bubon is also the #1 most experienced and successful Invisalign provider in all of Wisconsin. I am so thankful we switched orthodontists, I just wish it didn't take so much wasted time and money from the unprofessional scam that Deerwood is!
