By far the most affordable and friendliest places to rent or train in an airplane. As soon as you walk in it's like you're apart of the family. Also, if you're looking for flight instruction they have some of the best CFI's. Make sure to request John Palfrey, he is by far the best.

I trained for and attained my Instrument Rating at Air America flight center. Air America has been a great experience and I would recommend it as the best in the Daytona Beach area. The aircraft are all in working condition, but you may want to check in advance of your flight in a “six pack” 172 if you need GPS to be functional. My instructor and the other instructors that I have flown with are exceptional and very competent.nnMy Instructor’s name is Kyle Koehler - he was fantastic. I would highly recommend him as well as David Noah and Chris Rutledge, other great CFIs.

I’ve been flying aircraft out of Air America since 2012 and I booked aircraft rental 3 weeks ago and call to confirm availability 3 days before flight and then I called night before to confirm again. I get there early on day of flight and they decided I can’t take aircraft out of state. I lost all money from deposits I had put down on my upcoming 4 day trip.nDon’t rent from them if your planning long cross country flight.

Good option for plane rentals and flight school. Reasonable priced, staff easy to work with, some new planes and some older ones. Just make sure to do your pre-flight checks well.nWould use them again for more training!
