The office staff is amazing! They went above and beyond to get me approved for my new home. I am 56 yrs old and wanted a clean quiet place to live and this is it! The community is well taken care of and everyone is very friendly without being nosy. Instead of moving to a noisy apartment community, check this place out first! Thanks again office!

I have to say that this community is a wonderful for anyone to live . They amazing houses ud83cudfe1 in them and they have a fitness center, a big pool ud83cudfca and park. Lots of beautiful trees ud83cudf32 and it’s very peaceful . It’s nice and quiet . It’s a ideal place to live . A friend of mine lives in this place and that is why I was visiting

When looking at communities to purchase a winter home, we were impressed by the condition and location of Colony in the Wood, but we were turned off by the fact that three months after the 2020 election, residents were still allowed to hang political signage and flags including some with disparaging and crude messages.nnIt gave us the same fervent political atmospheric impression as the Villages area. Unfortunately, discussions with some of the residents who saw us looking around confirmed our concerns as they turned quickly to voting issues and political opinions. This was quite a turn off and made the community seem unwelcoming.

Great 55+ community in Port Orange, the city where everyone wants live. Close to Port Orange police department for an added feeling of security. Management are helpful, especially when you are nice to them. They have a hard job. The community is nicely manicured. Lawn mowing and irrigation is done by the park, as well as trash pick up and cable. Those fees are rolled into the lot rent cost. The average lot rent for east coast volusia county is approximately $700 per month on average and don't include as many benefits. Colony in the Wood is a 5 star community.

My mom Jenny lives in this park. She has been there for a long time. It went through some Renovations and is currently one of the best-kept best looking Parks I've ever seen
