I've been flying for 20 years and have several thousand hours. I ONLY mention that to point out that, while I find this business delightfully well presented, and their planes are safe, decently maintained, etc, I have never in 7,700 hours of flying been charged for borrowing a headset. $40 for 2 headsets for a flight. Ouch. After doing the rental checkout, this was my unpleasant surprise when I turned up to take my wife flying for the evening. Unfortunately, as we are in the middle of a move, our own headsets are packed away and unaccessible. Otherwise, we'd have avoided this problem. Otherwise..... my original review:nnVery clean, classy and friendly little FBO. It is big enough to be a good place to learn to fly without being too big. Great lounge area to wait for someone, and the fleet are color matched, well equipped for flight school planes. Everyone I've met here has been helpful and efficient. I look forward to using their rental fleet.

Glad I decide to go to that school I went got my commercial with them in August 2019 really customer friendly and helpful to get your flight done

Awesome school! I am so happy I attended Deland Aviation. The stuff are very friendly. The environment is great for learning. Would recommend anyone, anytime!
