I have been coming to this bookstore since the previous owners when they had 4 cats. Ink and Smudge who made it to the new owners were always a nice warm energy to the already cozy atmosphere. A used bookstore is rare to find in these fast changing, technology dependant times. Even more rare to find one of such size. This place is an introverts dream. Huge selection of books. Smudge passed over the years, but you still have Ink who will sit affectionatly for hours with you while you stem through the giant selection in a multitude of rooms. You will surely come for one thing and leave with many more. The staff is friendly and accomodating. Never overbearing or rude. They do buy books and will offer special orders.nIt is very clean, well lit, and smells good. Hands down the best book store in Volusia county. I hope they never go away!
We were looking for a book on Florida trees and found this spot. Walked out with so many books! Used and new books. This place is huge and well organized. Loved it!

A wonderful landmark in Deland, Florida! Amazing selection of books both new and old. Employees are always courteous and helpful. If they do not have what you want, the will get it! They now have a monthly game night too.
I love this place!!! I can never leave with just 1 book. They have an enormous selection, from casual reading to studies for all ages
