Holy Cross Lutheran Academy | Upper School | 6th - High School

My son started at Holy Cross this semester 2020 after a poor experience in public school. I wanted to give myself a month to see how he did before I put in a review. I chose to tour Holy Cross after speaking to the principal in the upper campus who was so kind to spend about an hour of answering questions, telling me about their programs and really just listening to me ramble about what I was looking for in a new school. I toured with Mrs. Stark who has been so great for always answering my questions. We instantly fell in love with the campus and everything it had to offer. They have a great balance of academics and non academic classes which children truly need...fast forward a month later my son is HAPPY. Genuinely happy! He now enjoys school and looks forward to it. He says his teachers are so nice (which I see with my own 2 eyes when I pick him up) and though he has always been a great student his grades have never been better! He feels challenged but not overwhelmed which was my goal. Best part of all he enjoys chapel and bible class which for this momma is the biggest win. I no longer feel like my son is a number on a roster, I see that the teachers and staff truly care and it reassures me that I made the right decision.

I'm a student here and I love it so far and I'm in 7th grade making a lot of friends and then losing some but I learned that school is first then friends. the teacher's here are nice especially ms Shadick, ms Tran, mr.B,Mr. marquise, mr. russ and mr peele. The main subject that I want to go into as career when I get older is forensic a Forensic Anthropologist or Toxicoligist or even firearms unit. Oh and Ms.Smith is the best drama teacher ever

My daughter just finished her first year at Holy Cross as a 9th grader and she loves it. We love the smaller class sizes, and the ability to have one on one time with the teacher. The teachers and staff are great, especially the principle who I can’t say enough wonderful things about. She truly cares about the students and does whatever it takes to see them succeed. We are so glad we made the decision to move to Holy Cross!

We have been at Holy Cross for 10 years. Both our children attend and my oldest son will be in the first graduating class in 2019. We couldn't be happier with the education they have received, the experiences they have had and the relationships they have built. The faculty and staff there are excellent. There is something unique about Holy Cross for sure!

This was our first year at Holy Cross. We moved all three children to Holy Cross because they go all the way through grade 12. It was the best decision we ever made. We have two in the upper campus and one is in elementary. The upper campus offers everything from swimming to robotics to theatre! I especially love how they have the ability to put the kids where they belong acedemically. I really could be on here all day raving but you should tour it for yourselves.
