After 48 years in the aviation profession, including general aviation, Naval Aviation and the airlines it's time to return to my roots in general aviation. I chose to rekindle my passion for pleasure flying at Tampa Bay Aviation located at Clearwater Airpark. My initial exposure with Tampa Bay Aviation was outstanding. Informative, courteous and professional describe my experience. I've now worked with a Tampa Bay Aviation Certified Flight Instructor, Clive Charpentier for several months. Clive's approach to teaching, both on the ground and in the air is exemplary. Clive’s aviation skills are top notch but just as important is his keen ability to explain and teach the complex subject of today's aviation industry. His enthusiasm is refreshing and he is an outstanding representative for Tampa Bay Aviation. I highly recommend connecting with Clive if you have an interest in learning the art (and science) of aviation.

This is my second time getting a helicopter tour, this time was for my 3 year anniversary and took my fiancé on her first helicopter ride. I can honestly say it felt like my first time due to how differently the experience was thanks to our amazing pilot MARIO ROSA. He was amazing in every way answering questions, actually had great conversations with us about the tour and much more things and had some good jokes up his sleeve ud83dude02 made the tour so much more enjoyable and i couldn’t ask for a more fun and amazing pilot we are definitely already planning on coming again and having him as our pilot for sure amazing pilot and men. Also the staff in the front desk was very helpful and amazing helping me to surprise my fiancé with the roses and champagne honestly amazing thank you guys.

They fly circles around the airpark and over our neighborhoods. Go over the bay, there is no reason for your lazy instructors to circle the neighborhoods.

Great place & location to take flight lessons on both helicopter and airplane.

Staff answering the phone were friendly and helpful. The original flight was cancelled due to weather but the redo for our daughter was spectacular.awesome pilot aweekend views. Our daughter three and her friend were imprese. .thank you
