Grandview Tiki Hut Cottage

We just stayed at the Tiki Hut cottage in March 2020 for a glorious week. Now if you are the Marriott crowd then this may not be your thing but we loved the old school vibe, friendly people and staff and the most beautiful beach in the USA only 100 steps to the sand. It didn't hurt that the week was sunny and 80 every day. The kitchen has everything you will need. The bedroom has a comfy king bed with ceiling fan. Captain Al is helpful with questions and very Knowledgeable about the area. The hot tub is fun and there are umbrellas and beach chairs for guest use. Also has bicycles that we used everyday to explore the island. THE best part of this cottage is the Tiki hut/table in the front yard facing the street. Fun people watching while enjoying a cool drink. Thank you Captain Al, Terry, Amanda and staff! Hope to be back next year!

The cottage was lovely and very clean. The staff was very courteous and friendly. The best part of the cottage was the location. The beach was very close, just a minute walk.nWe didn’t use our car a lot. We mostly walked. There were tons of shops, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. We brought our dog and there is a park very close to walk our dog.nThere was also a dog beach down the road within 5 minutes where we brought our dog swimming in the Gulf. Thanks Capt. Al!

I wouldn’t know because I never got to stay here do to being double booked here and asked to move which I agreed to once then after second time I just cancelled poor customer service at its finest.

+ My girlfriend and i visit Clearwater beach about once a month since we live close by in Orlando. We always stay at one of Captain Al's cottages. Definitly the coolest and most fun places to stay. The Tiki hut cottage is the real VIP of the units. Has its own dedicated hot tub and front court yard villa sort of thing with a tiki overhead and BBQ. The rooms were very clean, AC is super cold, beds were super comfy and just always an awesome experience.nnDont even bother googling other places, just call Captain Al and get a great deal on an awesome cottage! Grandview TIki Hut Cottage delivers. Really cool TIki Hut. We enjoyed our Spring Break here. Our favorite thing to do after a day at the beach was just chilling at the Tiki Hut which is right off the sidewalk on Mandalay Ave. Inside was freezing cold air, lots of room, and very comfortable beds. The Captain and his First Mate were first class property managers, always checking with the Guests if they needed anything. We already are making plans to return next year.nHurden and friends
