Great experience kayaking here. The waterway is winding and scenic. And the water is calm, easy for beginners like us. The rental fee is very affordable and staff highly responsive and professional. My family enjoyed it so much last time that we decided to come back and do it often, and also try the canoe or skiff sometimes.

Wow really nice experience only one hour from South Florida but away from the total mess it is. Looking forward to going back and camping experiencing the area horse rides look really cool

Nice opportunity to get on the river and visit Trapper Nelson's compound. Make sure to ask if tide will allow a Trapper visit. Wait if you can. It's interesting.

Great park to visit. Lots of activities for adults and kids. They offer horseback riding, horse buggy rides, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboaring, camping, boat tours and walking trails. Observations deck allows fir a great view of intracoastal and the Atlantic ocean. Inexpensive restaurant is located next to the activities hut. Entrance fee is $6 per car. Dogs are allowed on the grounds.
