There pretty nice, I mean it is a bummer there not open on the weekends but I totally understand the need to have some days off. They have a pretty nice collection of coins that are reasonably priced, I didn't find the owner rude or obnoxious so I had a good experience here. Would totally go back. [Also when I read other reviews, I like the owner, he says it like it is, he dont let nobody get over on him, I like that.]
I called Monday morning. I said “Hello how are you“ he responded with “What do you want” Let’s just say I went elsewhere.nnUpdate: Owner making excuses for poor customer service.
Mr. Maxwell is a funny guy. Likes to tell corny jokes. I traded some junk silver for some nicer coins. I feel like I got a great deal and will go back again.
Haven't had problems myself. Buy my gold here, some coins. Haven't been ridiculed, but I come prepared with knowledge, especially if I'm making a 10k+ deal. It would be stupid not to. No response for gems, I don't deal with them personally.
I had a wonderful experience at Maxwell's. Everyone there was very knowledgeable, professional, helpful, and fair. They were also kind, compassionate, generous, and caring. Good people! Good business! I highly recommend them!
