Behind the Seeds Tour

Living with the Land is one of our favorite EPCOT attractions, so being able to see behind the scenes was awesome! Highly recommended if you have any interest at all in hydroponic, sustainable gardening.

This tours offers really great insight into growing plants efficiently using hydroponics, climbing plants etc. Taking the tour is a much better way to experience the greenhouse at EPCOT because it expands what is essentially the ride into an hour and fifteen minute guided experience. We had Shannon as our guide and she was incredibly knowledgeable and extremely friendly, answering all questions and teaching us all about the different ways Disney is growing and sustaining its restaurants. You can really tell how much she enjoys her job. I hope you're lucky enough to get Shannon as your guide. Sometimes it's nice interacting with cast members that aren't in character.

It is an hour walking tour with your own agricultural intern in The Land greenhouse. They talk to you about how the hydroponics work, see the fish farm, and be on the other side of the boat tour. The tour is very interactive and is probably the best $25 you can spend at EPCOT. Also don't forget to say hi to Steve the plant.

Well worth the price of admission if you're into how Epcot maintains their greenhouses
