We switched from Progressive. Saved quite a bit of money and Allstate took care of all the work to cancel our other policies! It was easy and would recommend to anyone to do a rate comparison!

I cannot even justify giving them one star. This Allstate has been my home insurance provider for many years.. This past Jan, they hired someone to come out to my property to take pictures without my permission. Then I received a phone call from Marty telling me I had until the end of March to make repairs which were railings on my front porch, a back porch and a drooping gutter. Mind you, this was in the winter with snow piled up around my house and I was going to have these things done by the end of March?!nI then paid a contractor 3000.00 towards these repairs in which the total bill was 4500.00 to be paid upon completion. I sent the receipt in and got a little extension.. It is now mid June and my repairs are completed and I paid my contractor the rest of the money.nI then get a notice in my email that my home owner's insurance is going up anyway... 33.00 per month despite the fact that I had the repairs completed. I then called Marty and he told me that I need to bundle my auto policy with the home owner's policy to get a cheaper rate... He never, told me this in the first place or I would have never had these porches put on my house in which I could NOT afford.. I had to borrow the money from the bank to get these home improvements done and was going to apply the difference from the higher rate to the rate I already had towards that loan... I feel so let down that this has been done to me... I work darned hard for a living and keep my house safe and well kept and also have a Simplisafe system here... I will never, recommend these dishonest people ever!
