Floors R Us

Buyer BewarenWe had wood laminate flooring installed throughout our home in February 2018 by Floors R Us who were in Belleview at the time. They have since moved to a new location on 441/27. Within approximately 7 months, the vinyl began lifting from the boards in two areas of the house. The boards were replaced (with boards from a box we purchased) with the assurance (by the owner, Jim Hall) that we should not be concerned because the floor had a 50 year warranty. This vinyl separating, which is called delamination, occurred on two more occasions and boards were replaced with assurance again that we should not be concerned.nIn August, we had a new area where another board was delaminating. In addition, the two other areas that had been trouble in the past were lifting again. We decided that it was finally time to have a permanent solution to this problem. Floors R Us would not return my calls so I contacted the sales representative for the manufacturer, Suncrest. This was on September 4th; as of today, nothing has been rectified. After many emails and phone calls, an independent inspection of the floors was ordered and completed. The point we are at now, is that NO ONE will enlighten us as to the content of the inspection report because we did not pay for it. Floors R Us owner, Jim Hall, the sales representative, Doug Cushman, nor the manufacturer, Suncrest, help us in any way. And to really make things ever more interesting, the floor color we installed has been discontinued. There are many more details to this narrative but I won't bore you. If you need more information, PM me.nJust be aware where you buy your flooring. Suncrest has a warranty but getting them to honor it seems to require us hiring a lawyer. Floors R Us, Jim Hall is really, really nice until he gets your money, then bye bye and the sales representative, Doug Cushman, definitely does not have the customers best interest in mind. Sadly, ethical business practices are quickly disappearing.

The large samples really helped me make my color choice. The quality of the product is superb.nnThe installation crew was fantastic. We put new flooring in most areas of the house. One big plus about Floors R US, is that they don't charge for moving furniture and removing the baseboard and putting the baseboard back on. The installers even put the Self-Stick Adhesive Felt Pads on the furniture for you.nnI would definitely recommend them to all my friends

Mr. Hall is a wealth of knowledge. If you want a quality floor, he is tops!
