We’ve had the pleasure of working with Michael for a couple of years now not only on our own estate planning but a parent’s who has special planning needs due to being on disability. He has always gone above and beyond, meeting us on days and times outside of normal business hours when we couldn’t make anything else work and needed to get something important finalized quickly and even taking it upon himself to take some classes to learn more about a topic that pertained to our planning to increase his knowledge about it. We thought we hired the right team to represent us on a small claims case and found out we were wrong after it was too late. Not only do we feel like could have won our case but they missed a court date which didn’t sit well with the court and they were always really hard to get ahold of. Also, after the case was over we found out the other party contacted them repeatedly to settle the matter and they only responded with ‘we don’t represent them anymore’. They could have picked up the phone or sent us as email informing us of the attempted contact over the course of 60 days!! Really disappointing and we ended up feeling like they just took our case to take our money.
