And sentimentality aside, they did the work for a reasonable price, in the time promised, and with professionalism.nnWhen I brought my ring into Gold In Art, I was frustrated that, despite working with a different jeweler to design my customer ring, it was still not what I had envisioned. Cheryl listened to me, looked at my pictures, and repeated details back to me to confirm she understood what I wanted.nnThen Cheryl wrote up the estimate. I had to leave the store to compose myself. Now, the price was not exorbitant--it was reasonable given the amount of work that needed to be done. My tears came because I had waited months and had paid for the work to be done--and over the time I had been waiting, I had been laid off.nnCheryl was kind and empathetic. When I said I could not move forward, Cheryl did not press me or try the hard sell.nnOnce I had a job lined up, I brought the ring to the store. While the ring was being transformed, Cheryl, sent me pictures to confirm the changes. When an additional costs arose, Cheryl explained the need and the cost before the work was done. And all of this was done within the promised time.nnThe ring was just what I had envisioned down to the tiny details. Cheryl took my input, conveyed it to her sister who drew up the design, and then to their nephew. (I may be messing up relationships and I can't remember names, but I remember their faces!)nnThe best part of the process was picking it up, of course because I wanted the ring! But also because, after months of jewelers critiquing or not understanding the design, Cheryl and her sister embraced the design and shared my appreciation of the meaning.nnThe ride to Mount Dora is a bit of a ride for me--and totally worth the drive for such a caring and professional experience!
