City of brooksville fire dept has some terrific and caring personnel working for them . The real issue is a hundred years of tradition unimpeded by progress attitude that has lead to the dept. not realizing that ur modern day fire service is a medical entity that occasionally runs fires. The leadership has failed to see this trend. Best wishes to the future of all involved remembering that our customers are what truly matter.

I support you and your families 100%!nHowever I must inform you of the new policy for medical benefits payments.nIf you are injured on the job, a complete and thorough background check will be administered before any medical benefits can be paid. This is to deter any terrorists from defrauding the city government.nThis new policy is supported by all Republican members of Congress, my administration, and the GOP.nIf you will recall, this was started with the first responders on 9/11. Some of those injured firemen did not see any benefits for over 10 years.nThank you and god bless...
