We have wanted to visit here for a long time. Worth the trip, spent the afternoon on the beach and watched the sunset. Awesome.nDo not leave too early as the colors kept getting better and better even after the sun had set.

Marco Island is both very nice pace to visit and one of the most visitor unfriendly places to visit. They don't want you there unless you are renting or booking into a hotel. You can't stop anywhere, you can't go to the beach, beats me what you can do there unless you are doing one of the above for housing. It is fine for me, there are soo many other places you can go and enjoy more.

Good luck getting a parking spot , there are only like 20 available spots ...$8.00 for all day parking , not a bad deal .

Nice area but go EARLY in season to get a parking spot.

Great beach for shelling but come early, parking is very limited
