1st I need to say I am terrified of Dentist and needles, I also needed a lot of work done to restore my smile. Dr. Rooney is great very caring and makes sure you are comfortable while doing work. Tay is wonderful as well along with Deborah and Mia at the front, I hope I got the names right, but they are wonderful. Highly recommend

Should had taken the the que when they kept text messaging and leaving voice messages confirming my appointment. Had to finally call and ask them to please stop! My appointment was for 10am they asked I arrive early to fill out any paperwork. I arrived at 9:40 filled out the paperwork and waited! When I finally was called back the young lady they had taking x-rays didn't know how to operate the machine. After several attempts I asked her if I could have the x-rays I'd gotten done a month ago sent over.. she said yes and they put me in the hall to wait some more.. didn't know how long till the lady from the front walked by and mentioned they would resume after my x-rays were sent.. mind u I'm a new PT! If they would have asked I would have had them sent prior to my appointment! After the nice lady informed me of my new wait time! I left.. Will not be back! Will definitely not recommend this place to anyone I like.. gave them 2 stars because they started my birthday off right!nnOh! Forgot.. my appointment was for 10am this morning.. I arrived at 9:40 and left at 11:30.. without being seen!

It took them 8 months ..8 months..to file a claim with my insurance..and they want my to pay out of pocket... They wanted me to have all this Expensive work done.,,but had issues filing 1 claim with my insurance...my advice before getting expensive work done get a second opinion....witch they act like they didn't want me to do......the mistake was on them. If you got good insurance this is not the place...find someone better.

I had an appointment at Bright Now Dental in on 4/6/21 for my yearly, which typically includes a check up, x-rays, and a cleaning. They failed to tell me that there is no cleaning that day and you have to schedule your cleaning for another day. The cleaning is a separate appointment and the first available was at the end of May. They recommended that I get a deep cleaning which costs almost $1400 and is considered major dental so my insurance doesn't cover it. I brush and floss my teeth at least 2 to 3 times a day and have my own scraper at home to get off any type of plaque or tartar. I read quite a few reviews and I'm noticing a pattern with this deep cleaning thing. Something seemed off about the place. Within five minutes of me entering the waiting room, the front office staff was extremely loud, cursing, complaining, and using patient's first and last names which is a clear violation of HIPPA. Everyone in the waiting room could hear them. As someone that already suffers from dental anxiety, the negativity in there did not help even a little bit.and I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience or any other insights about the place. I waited 15 minutes past my appointment time with no apologies. The office was dirty and not aesthetically pleasing whatsoever. It was very crowded. The lady that took my x-rays was sweet, As was the hygienist that spent five minutes with me taking my gum measurements. Then the Dentist came in for roughly 2 minutes. She told me I needed a deep cleaning because she saw a little bit of tartar on my x-rays and when I pointed out that I had a chipped back molar, she immediately said I was going to need a crown for that tooth. When I asked about a chipped tooth in the front she said that she could not fix that, nor could she fix my gum recession with compound filling and I would need to see a gum specialist for that. I also brought to her attention two teeth (that were more filling than tooth and I have been told by a prior dentist that I would need crowns on both of those). She stated that she does not do any preventative work. She only works on things that need fixed right away. I thought it was general dentistry? Needless to say, I am going to my prior dentist to get a second opinion and get a regular teeth cleaning. Of note, this prior dentist that I had visited five years ago gave me a regular cleaning although I had not been to a dentist for 10 years. She never recommended that I needed any kind of deep cleaning or scaling or anything.nn4/8/21 - I just went to my prior dentist at Harbor city dental. I do not need a deep cleaning, nor do I need the crown that bright now told me that I needed. I got a full cleaning and got to spend quite some time with the dentist who answered all of my questions and explained everything to me in a polite and thorough manner. Bright now also completely overlooked a cavity. Harbor city is filling my cavity for me, putting filling component over the two sensitive spots on my molars due to gum recession that Bright now said could not be done. They are also fixing a chip in my front tooth that bright now said they could not do either. No major dental will be required and my insurance will cover a portion the fillings. They are keeping an eye on those two teeth that I had mentioned before that may need crowns but they said I should be OK until my major dental kicks in in November. Incredible.

Social Distancing was practiced here making me feel safe. Also everyone was wearing a mask. The lady who took me in and did the bite wing Xray was so very nice. She understood the pain I have had. When the dentist came in she agreed with me on the best recourse instantly. She did not try to sway me to do more extensive or more expensive plan.
