Life Time Athletic Brookfield

I am a personal trainer myself and enjoy going to facilities that give me all the toys I could ever want to play with. This Life Time location provides all of that and more!nnThe staff is very friendly, especially their front desk staff. The overall layout of the gym is great because you can always have your own space. I never feel like I'm working out in someone's space or breathing someone's air. Additionally all of the equipment is state of the art and they take really good care of it. From the tile in the bathroom to the slam balls in the back corner, it's all clean.nnI'm also a big fan of how I can slam the heck out of the appropriate equipment in the appropriate areas.

My fiancé and I are completely dissatisfied with the way this gym handled canceling our membership. We are travel nurses and will no longer be located in Wisconsin. I notified Lifetime Brookfield, in person, at the end of July we will be taking an assignment in a different state (didn't know where at the time) and we didn't know if there would be a lifetime there. I was told the best way to go about this would be to put my account on hold until I find out where we will be going and then when we find out, call lifetime brookfield to either cancel (if there wasn't a lifetime by our location) or un-hold our membership. I spent about 20 minutes talking to the employee and asking questions to get this all figured out before we left Wisconsin. The employee told me she put a note in our account about everything we talked about so future employees looking at my membership would understand. Again, I was told I could just call and cancel or un-hold the membership.nWe finally find out where we are going and there is not a Lifetime located near us. Today, I call lifetime to inform them I would like to cancel my membership. Laura, the person I talk to about this on the phone informed me I need to come in person and cancel my membership. I explained to her what I was originally told that ALL I would have to do is call in and cancel my membership. She told me this is not the case and I need to either come in or deliver a handwritten note to the facility.nI am disappointed that Lifetime employees are not all on the same page and didn't follow through with what they told me.

Almost every single member was not wearing their mask properly or had no mask at all. I spent about 2 hours working out here and did not see a single member or employee wipe down gym equipment. It is a beautiful gym, but I am disappointed at the lack of precaution for the current pandemic. I visited this gym as a guest and I plan to look elsewhere for a gym with members who are respectful and wear a mask.

The best luxury fitness center I have ever gone to. Hands down the best in my town.

This is by far the greatest gym I have ever had. No other gyms around here even come close. I’ve been working out consistently for over 12 years now and I’ve tried a lot of gyms. This isn’t a gym, it is the gym.nnThat being said, as somebody who has been a member here for a few months now, the only reason I am taking one of these stars away is to bring attention to the fact that the life café is always understaffed. I am always waiting in line, the staff members are always stressed out because they are taking orders and making all the food themselves. I’ve left the café several times and just not ordered because I can tell that they are overwhelmed. Hire more staff and make your gym more money.
