When I read the reviews below that say they are so honest and wonderful it makes me ill to say the least. My insurance Company is also local , West Bend Mutual. I highly suggest you call them for a quote. My friend had to slam on her brakes to avoid us hitting a semi truck and I was sleeping at the time and flew into the dash board and my front teeth became immediately lose. I went to the dentist and he wanted to pull my teeth that day and there was no way I was going to walk around with no front teeth for days so I left and went to get another opinion. I was basically told that my teeth could tighten back up and that we probably wouldn't know for 2 years the outcome. At this point I wasn't even thinking this was a claim because she avoided hitting him and thought I'd be paying for this. The insured told me that is why she has insurance and to file a claim. So I did. Now to make a long story short American Family said they didn't receive my statement and bills from the dental office 2 times. They were sent and the 2nd time they were even sent from Shannon Winks Office. They claimed I wasn't calling them back, also not true. The first girl was fired and I'm not sure what happened to the 2nd girl who was working on this but the 3rd girl was not helpful. Now this is important they have pictures of my face and teeth a few days before and a few days after the accidentnMy teeth were very pretty, white and straight. The dentist did tell me he was starting to see some gingivitis but in no way was that the reason for my teeth becoming lose. I had 2 letters stating that from dentist. Well they paid some claims then decided to tell.me the case was closed. Then paid some more. Then just played games the entire time. I didn't want pay for pain or loss wages all I wanted was them to fix the teeth that were knocked lose when I found out they weren't going to be saved. My insurance Company West Bend is secondary. That means that American Family pays the first money out for med pay then a west Bend kicks in and pays med pay. WB Mutual didn't have issue in paying but American Family fought me the entire way. A month or so before my time period was up they sent me another letter stating they closed the file. My girl friend called Shannon and they did say they would send my claim in for review. My apt was set up again and had to be cancelled because i cant get 20 thousand dollars of work done when I dont know what is going on. They also won't tell you no matter what if anything will be covered until the work is done. This is standard but still not right. I was told that they would put a rush on the review and the person who's car I was in sent them a email saying they needed to fix my teeth this was wrong. They also said a supervisor would put a rush on it. I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD PROBABLY CALL ME DAY OF OR DAY BEFORE DEAD LINE AND TELL ME IT'S DENIED. THEY DID JUST THAT. MY FRIENDS KEPT CALLING SAYING THIS WAS WRONG EVEN West Bend Mutual felt bad and said they would extend my time frame so we asked AF and they wouldn't. I spoke with a lawyer and I needed to file right away if I wanted to keep this open .I called Jenny and they called Shannon and I said please just do what's right. I am not the kind of person to sue anyone and I told Jenny this. Well bottom line they say now they won't pay and time is up that this is due to the gum issue. I could've sued but I didn't have the heart to do that.Even if I had major gum issues my teeth were not lose in my mouth until the day I hit the dash. You guys I'm serious I have left out so much they did wrong to me because I didn't want to lose you but just please don't trust AF and don't look for your agent Shannon to back you because he won't. Call any other insurance Company. Please. Sorry if I made any mistakes writing this I'm in a huge hurry but just so angry needed to say this.

Shannon Wink and his staff are phenomenal!! They are very friendly and honest with you as ccustomers. It is very nice to have them so local.

I just got off the phone with a Wink Agency representative and I feel compelled to write them a review. I moved to Madison 20 years ago, but I've stuck with the Wink Agency since I was a kid getting my first car. I continue to be impressed with their quick assistance and proactive communication. They've come through in the clutch several times for me with same-day assistance/documentation/faxes when buying a new car or moving. I've never had to wait to talk to anybody, and the people are a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommend!
