Beautiful this time of year

I was very satisfied with my weekend at The Chalet. It has lots of room for activities outside and inside. There are also some trees great for hammocking. Remarkably the bugs didn't pose much annoyance despite the Chalet being right next to a pond. Admittedly, the train tracks right by the road leading up to the Chalet are used periodically throughout the day, but there doesn't seem to be any use at night. Watch out for the raccoons; make sure you put all of your garbage into the metal dumpster, or inside the Chalet itself, or the raccoons will get to it. There is parking right by the Chalet for around 8 vehicles, but there is more parking at the base of the drive way.

I hate to say it... I know it's been incredibly hot this summer, but the grass didn't looked watered. We had a great time but for what we paid for the weekend (and it's booked every weekend all summer) I would think they could water more and keep the grass greener. It's entirely possible they do. I'm not an expert but even around the Chalet the grass is struggling. It could just be the heat this time of year, it's a real shame because it's a beautiful area.

This is a great place, went to the sleepy hollow haunted meadows.
