This has been a great takeout place this year with the drive thru window and goid food. I've been getting the Mario's Feast which is plenty of food for several meals. My wife has enjoyed the fish fry. Their tomato sauces are sweet (which I like). The garlic bread that comes with the meals reminds me a lot of the garlic bread I loved at Mama Mia's before our local one closed.nAs long time residents of Mukwonago, we had stopped going to the restaurant after very slow service when dining in, but our experiences the last few years have established Mario's as one of our favorite local restaurants.
My go-to place whenever I visit Mukwonago! Even though GOOGLE lists the dinning room as X-closed. It is OPEN!!!! GO & ENJOY!!!
I'm 74 and have patronized many Italian restaurants. Char, the owner has kept her original Italian receipts the same over the years... and thankfully so! Her dinners and pizzas are simply amazing...I cannot begin to think of a better place to PATRONIZE {or take out in these times}! BTW...I JUST FINISHED OFF THE BETTER PART OF HER WONDERFUL MENU ITEM CALLED THE ITALIAN FEAST. Heavenly!

The best...pizza and lasagna is out of the world. Just been remodeled looks great.
