Always a wonderful Christmas service. But, I'm quite biased toward the pianist as she's my mom; an extremely talented woman who's been playing piano for churches for at least 40 years. (I hope my posts work as they videos they are. My nephew joined my mom and brother for a trio this year playing The Little Drummer Boy. Other videos include Joe Reinders; a talented guitarist and pastor at a different church.)

I went to this church for many years during my youth and thoroughly enjoyed it. My grandma sung in the choir and my mother taught Sunday school. I've been to many other Methodist churches since leaving, and always find myself making comparisons to what I experienced in East Troy.

St. James welcomes us with smiles and open arms every time we attend. The Wednesday night Lenten services are especially casual, which is nice and at a great time 7 p.m.. I really feel like I have found our new church home. The coffee and cake before and after Sunday church services are quite good and unexpected. I like that church starts at 9 a.m.
