The resort is a nice place. We used to go here every year for a week during summer until our family outgrew the accommodations. However, returning to the lodge for an occasional visit on a weekend reminds me of when we started out as a family. Other than my memories, which nobody cares about, it's clean, with nice facilities and amenities. The cabins are owned independently so some variances are noticeable.
Great food , great affordable cabins , run by great people. Location of this resort is perfect. Good bike trails to explore as well. Something to explore for everyone up here. Good docks to keep boat at. Rob the owner might even put ya on a musky or two
Great place. Beautiful scenery, cabins nice. Lake nearby that is beautiful. Walking trails and a really great restaurant on site
Said there was a microwave to use but didn't tell us that is only during office hours...no hot water in my room. Said free WiFi but it was unusable. Truck and trailer parking was 1/8th mile from the Lodge...Went there for a snowmobile trip and our room wasn't ready which we knew but they said they had no where inside that we could get our Snowmobile clothing on so we had to dress out side.... Pretty Sad...
Great Northwood location. Spacious cabins. Some maintenance needed on dock & cabin porch. Mattress feeling it's age. Restaurant & bar closed 2 days while we were here. But still a nice place to Gey away.
