So growing up in Albuquerque it's taken fifty years and time living back east to realize what a quaint, quirky, convenient, and quite efficient airport the Sunport is. Aptly named as well, with excellent views not merely of air traffic and operations, but of incredible skies, and impressive mesas and mountains. As I walked through the lobby this morning, the glass cases of aircraft models brought back a flood of memories. Memories of a little boy in the airport waiting to pick up dad after travels, looking at the airplane models, watching the planes lands and actually waiting "At The Gate" for loved ones to arrive. This airport is lovely. One of the elements of Albuquerque worth enjoying, which considering the challenges of the city, is a good positive note. Recommended.

Watching airplanes take off is a cool way to pass the time while your getting to know somebody!

Major of shopping stores and restaurants are closed,TSA personal are great,so friendly!

Small airport, but easy to get in and out. However it was in covid times
