Had to have a tooth removed in the back of my mouth and the Dr told me I needed to have the tooth next to it caped or it was possible i could loose that tooth as well. Called to make an appointment to start the process of the cap, and when i was able to get in for the cap appointment, there had been a misunderstanding somewhere as too what my appointment was for. They were only going to do the cleaning, (which was necessary to start the cap process anyway), but they were not going to start the process with the temporary cap.
After I explained that the only reason i was truly there was for the cap procedure and that it is incredibly difficult for me to schedule appointments, as i have young children and no family in the state and I have to have my husband take days off work just to schedule things, they were AMAZING!!!!!!!
They stayed long into the night to start the process for me and it was truly wonderful. They did the cleaning and the temporary cap all that evening. I was there for about 4 hours but it did not matter to me. They were right there with me, well after closing to make sure my needs were met.
I have since returned for the permeant cap and now have a bit of trouble flossing between the new cap and my actual teeth. I really feel confident that they will fix this issue when i contact them about it and i could not be more pleased by their service and dedication to healthy smiles.
They are an incredibly busy office so i go in expecting a wait. If you schedule there, you should set aside a good amount of time to be seen. It is time well worth it for this Dr. and his staffs passion and expertise.
If I could give zero stars I would. After getting my teeth filled. I had a partial and the tooth came out. The replacement tooth Protruded outward like I had horse teeth. Secondly I went to a different dentist to fix my broken tooth on the partial. The new dentist discovered that my teeth were rotting where the fillings Dr.Argant did. All of the cavity should of been removed, but it was not. Not just on one tooth but almost all of them. I'm glad that I went to a different dentist who spotted this. I wish I could share my x rays too. If you have had fillings put on your mouth by this dentist you should get them inspected. He will mess your mouth up.
After filli?ng out the new patient paperwork my son and I were escorted by a dental assistan to the back and my son was seated in the dental chair. The assistant(?) asked if I knew how much the treatment would cost today. I answered that I was told on the phone when I made the appointment the fee for removing my son's braces would be approximately $100. She said it was $150 and an additional $50 for the visit.
I responded - "that is double of what I was quoted over the phone - can we split the difference and I pay $150 cash." She agreed that would be fine and proceeded to take of my sons' braces (in under 5 minutes). The dentist, Dr. Argant, came in, introduced himself agreed that it was a good idea to remove the braces and said he would be back to remove the glue. My son waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes in the chair and Dr. Argant returned and it took him 7 minutes to remove the glue.
We went to the front desk and I was presented by the office manager with a $208 invoice. I told her we had discussed the fee before we started the procedure and had agreed to pay $150. She started screaming that all patients pay the same prices and that she is the only one authorized to make financial agreements.
I should have asked for the dental assistant to come to the front and explain why there was this misunderstanding between the staff - but instead I paid $150 and was given a receipt showing a $58 negative balance. I will never go back to this office.
I took my 5 yr old grandchild to her dentist appt today and waited 55 minutes in the front and then they took us back to the back and we waited another 40+ minutes there. When Mr. Argant came in (I call him Mr because he does not deserve the title of Dr) he had full mask and eye protection on, my grandchild was scared and said so, he got mad and said he wouldn't force a child to have a proceedure done and to go to another dentist. I asked how come when you have an appt that you have to wait over an hour and a half and he told me it was none of my business! So I asked his assistant the same question and then Mr Argant went off on me yelling that he has to wait at Dr's offices and the hospital for over 2 hours and he doesn't question it and I have disrespected him by even asking that question! He was yelling and scaring my grandchild very much and she was crying that she was scared I told her not to worry about it because we were leaving, Mr Argant started yelling to "Get OUT!" and He was going to call the police! He was walking very threatening behind me and scaring my grandchild very badly. I said "yes call the police because there is something wrong with you" and I pulled my cell phone out and told him I was going to call 911 because he has no business being around children and scaring them and tramatising them like this, he kept yelling to get out and to call the police. My grandchild was saying "grandma hurry lets go" at this point his office manager asked me to step into her office and she said he is an excellent dentist and very good with children. I told her no he wasn't and he should never be allowed to be around kids again! He has my grandchild so upset and scared and will probably have a difficult time seeing a dentist again. I can not believe how he acted and he thought nothing of how he was scaring his young patient, he had total disreguard for her fears or feelings. I pray you think long and hard before you take a child to him because he doesn't care what he does or says in front of a child. I have heard he was a good dentist but we know better now. How sad that he did this to a 5 year old.
