I'm totally unsatisfied with their service! They never give me a time they'll be at my house, not even a time range. They text and tell me they're scheduled to come on a certain day, but almost every time, they show up, don't bother to call or see if we're home, see that our dog is out and send a text saying we need to reschedule because no one was home and the dog was out, preventing them from completing their service. Yesterday there were people home all day, my daughter even saw the guy, (he never knocked) who told her to let us know they'd stopped by. He didn't ask her to put the dog away or anything, just said to tell her parents they had come. ( She's 18, not a child that couldn't make it possible for them to get into the back yard) Then they sent a text today saying they had come by, no one was home, and the dog was out, so we needed to reschedule. They would not waste their time or ours if they could properly communicate and let me know about what time to expect them so I could get the dog inside and watch for them. I'm done using them for our pest control. Besides, there are always ants or wasps around our yard still after they spray. Not worth my money.

Worst pest control company. Poor service, poor quality. Poor ethics. We were not happy and had continued pest problems after their first service. Then we were not able to get out of the contract without paying a ridiculous amount to get out of it. We hired another company to do what theirs couldn’t. When our contract ended we verified two separate times that our contract was complete and we did not want to renew. Then they showed up again 3 months later without any notice or appt and I told them our service was cancelled so there must have been a mistake. When we called to correct it, they refused to note or acknowledge that we cancelled our contract. We will be disputing any charges. This company is crooked and not honest with their clients. DO NOT HIRE THEM!

#1. They have no regard for 'Do Not Solicit' signs. #2. Make sure EVERYTHING the salesman promises you is in detail, not vague, spelled out, date stamped, notarized and pull out the magnifying glass to read the stipulations and small, invisible, made up "standards" they are required to abide by. #3. Get a security system so you can watch them pull up to your house, call you, and when you're not home- they sit in their vehicle for 7 minutes and leave without getting out of the truck and check off that your home has been treated and you magically get billed for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. (Oh, how I love that my security camera is hidden. I called and told them that I had proof and this must be a problem, because they sent someone out immediately to remedy the issue) #4. When you call to cancel due to the economy and layoffs or to even push out services- they won't. You're bound to them and they connect you to a department full of workers that belittle you, raise their "professional voices", push your buttons and throw in your face that you signed a contract that can't be broken. Stay trashy Hawx Retention Dept! #5. Refer to #4- they said I wasn't allowed to push out services when I specifically told the salesman that I don't want services in the Winter. The first year, went off without a hitch. There were 5 months of peace from their automatic appointments (yes, they pick them for you and call you to let you know when they're coming out). You read right, I got a treatment in the Fall and was left alone until late Spring. #6. When I called right now to do the same thing as last year, they said that it's not their policy to do so. I told them to look up my contract and look at my service dates. He responded that the person that permitted that last year was in error and it's not in their policy. #7. Their service doesn't really work. I've had to call them to treat the inside multiple times in-between services. I will say that is their only plus side. They will continuously come out to treat every 2-3 weeks until the next 90 day treatment. Outside will always have bugs. We just fell for it, because the salesman convinced my husband that our neighborhood had a major spider infestation. #8. Thank you for making me leary of shady, vague contracts and door-to-door salesman for the REST OF OUR LIVES. #9. You also have a HORRIBLE Customer Retention Dept- Issue Resolution Dept. The lady I talked to over the Summer was an absolute nightmare and for that, I will NEVER recommend Hawx to anyone and I will post my review on every thing I can find on the Internet. That's how valued you made me feel as a customer and human being. #10. Don't bother contacting me to take this down. I don't want another person to go through what I did.

The guy that comes to my house is very polite and is willing to answered all my questions. We had an ant problem and they came to treat the house everytime we needed it. We hear our neighbors complain about spiders and ants but it hasn't been an issue for us. They come quarterly and we are satisfy with their service. We recommend them to all our friends!

When it comes to making my home bug free these guys are my go to company. They are always polite and respectful of our property. Had to call in to postpone my payment because of the holidays and they are like that's no problem. Great to work with all around.
