Dr. Shane explains all of your treatment options and helps you make the best decision for your smile. You can rest assured he would never suggest a procedure you don’t really need, just to charge you the most. An honest dentist who does quality work and is personable!

My entire visit was most enjoyable from start to finish, the staff is incredibly gracious and extremely helpful. They do an excellent job of explaining what’s wrong with your mouth in plain English. Easily the best dentist in the Midwest 11/10 would recommend.

Dr. Shane, Brittany, and the front office staff are so friendly they make trips to the dentist feel like visiting friends! Dr. Shane is very knowledgable and professional, and I love their edge with all the modern technology they have to offer in the clinic. They'll make you feel right at home and know you're getting the best quality of care!

ABSOLUTE WORST DENTIST OFFICE EVER! UNPROFESSIONAL, EXTREMELY SHADY AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED! ALWAYS GET SECOND OPINION IF DOING MORE THAN A ROUTINE TEETH CLEANING...SEE BELOW OF MY EXPERIENCE AS THEIR PATIENT...nnSept 10, 2020 - Teeth cleaning and same day was told of a 75% chance of root canal. Was told on my next appointment if it was determined a root canal was needed, they would need to start the process immediately, meaning that same day. Payment options were discussed. One of the options was to do the first part of the procedure that day, and wait 6-months for the insurance to kick in before finishing it, because it was new dental insurance. I would owe 500ish but was given a payment plan option on that amount. The 6-month option with insurance would be considered, but because I was able to have a payment plan for the full procedure (total cost around $2800), it was more than likely I would be paying for this out of pocket, instead of waiting six months to finish it. If the root canal wasn't needed, I were to owe $500ish for the fillings. If it was needed, the very first option I was given was to pay 30% down, and then continue with payments every month, around $200. I said the 30% might be a stretch but we could discuss it once we found out if a root canal was needed.nnSept 21, 2020 - It was determined I needed a root canal and I was informed after the temporary filling was put in, instead of giving me the option of starting the process that day. They did this without asking. Therefore, the wait 6-month option was taken from me as these fillings only lasted a few weeks. Because of this, everything needed to be started and using insurance was out of the question because I would have to wait six months for it to kick in. After paying 200$ which was part of the 500 amount for the fillings, we then discussed payment options on the full amount of the procedure. The 30% down was brought up again. I said that was too much for me (because I elected to do this without insurance) to come up with so I proposed on my next visit, I could pay the rest of the 500 balance before paying the entire procedure off in November when I would have the money. This was agreed upon. We then scheduled three appointments as the way it was explained to me was that I needed three appointments to complete such a procedure. The appointments were scheduled for October 6th, 8th, and 30th.nnI then cancelled my dental insurance because I would not need it.nnSept 28, 2020 - I received a phone call from the office saying that they would not be honoring any payment plans and that I would have to come up with all of the money up front before they did anymore work.nnAs it stood I had a temporary filling in my mouth that within a couple weeks would not be there anymore. I rearranged my schedule and my finances according to the treatment plan they gave me. In other words if I do not pay all the money up front on October 6th, I now have a health risk.nnHad I known what I know now, I would have elected to take the 6-month option that was taken from me, and waited for my insurance to kick in. The 6-month option would have allowed them to put in a stronger filling in order to last 6 months, instead of the temporary fillings they just assumed I wanted and went ahead and put them in. I would have been okay with 30% down with a payment plan - insurance would have covered 50% of the full procedure.nnSept 29 - I requested x-rays to go to another dentist and they told me I could not come in and that I needed to make an appointment just to pick them up. I made an appointment for Monday, October 5th at 5 PMnnOct 5 - I was able to pick up the x-rays so I could look for help elsewhere to finish what they startednnGOOD LUCK TO ANYONE THAT CHOOSES TO DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

I have been with Dr Shane from the start. Dr Shane is warm, personable, and inviting. He has created a very comfortable atmosphere. Dr Shane has explained what needs to be done and if there are options he will explain. He will invite you to take a look at your x rays. He has always made sure while working on my teeth that I am pain free and comfortable. He is very intuitive. He is proud of his work. I have never had a dentist who really cares!
