Park Dental Hudson

In my experience this is the most incompetent dental service I have ever had.

BEWARE OF BILLING INCOMPETENCY AND BILLING FRAUD! $2,730 for a cleaning and temporary filling!nIs what Heather Loughney, receptionist manager is attempting to bill me for these 2 services but claims she has given me a $2,000 discount. My first visit quote I signed acknowledging the services will be $404. My second visit quote I signed acknowledging the services will be $266. Heather inaccurately denied accepting my Humana Plus discount plan she sells me their plan. Insurance company called the office now they do accept it. Heather reimburses me but increases the cost and refuses to honor the 2 acknowledgement agreement's I signed and are required by law. Each time I dispute her inaccurate billing and lack of showing me where a discount was applied the bill keeps going up. Heather and Lori Durand both are stating my charges are $2,730 without Insurance. Heather has added my refunds into the charges and doesn't understand what she has done, this is why the bill keeps increasing.

What an amazing group of folks here! Our whole family loves going here and have really great experiences. The entire staff is friendly and efficient. They’ve taken the time to answer any question we’ve had or even cheaper/better/smarter alternatives. We’d highly recommend them as your dental care team!!

The dentists seem nice, however the communication and complete lack of trust I felt lost me as a costumer.nnI was frustrated by the miscommunication and lack of flexibility. I moved an entire schedule of meetings around to fit an appointment and called the day before to ask if I could be later. They even called the day of to ask where I was and I said on my way, to which they replied okay.nnHowever, upon arrival I was reprimanded for not being on time and told to reschedule. I explained that I had communicated this earlier and was told it would be fine. Nope. I was told I need to reschedule. Which with their lack of times and availability was not possible it seemed until another month down the line.nnThe hygienist who rudely pointed out how upset she was by my lack of time commitment was asked by the receptionist how we could make this work. She replied with, “Well, if she was able to get here on time...”nnI had enough of her behavior and rudeness. Their lack of communication was not my fault. I moved everything around and called them twice to ask for clarification. Then they couldn’t fit me in at all to make it work. At that point I left, no one deserves to be reprimanded and mistreated like that, especially when it is so obviously a lack of communication on their part.nnI immediately called another dentist in town, and they were able to make it work the very next day and I’m not even a member there yet. After, my past experience this felt like a blessing to have such a helpful understanding person.nnI’m not one to write reviews, but I don’t want someone to put up with an event like this when there are better options out there. I wish I had looked at the reviews here first. I would not recommend this place for anyone.

Dr. Bruinooge and the staff have taken great care of me and my family for many years. A great balance of friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Park Dental.
