Travis Smith Roofing,nEven though I am in the middle of trying to sell one house while remodeling my new onenI had to take the time to sit down and let you know about the exceptional experience we just had with the crew that did our new roof.nTo begin with, everything you want from a contractor but seem to never get, they delivered on it: start early, work late, do a professional job, and clean-up when they are done, they did all that but so so much more.nFirst of all please let them all know how much I appreciate how respectful they all were of me and my family. I was able to be there all three days they were there, I'm sure it probably felt like I was practically watching thier every move, but they were all so polite to me and my family, and went to such great lengths to protect my property from any damage and made an incredible effort to clean up after completing the job to the point you would never know we just had our whole roof torn off and replaced.  But the thing that made the biggest impression on me was that during the job not only did they discover that there were several areas that had been leaking and had caused some rotted boards but they found that all the wood around the chimney including the wood that ran up all four sides of the chimney was rotting and that the top of the chimney itself had not been installed correctly. So to say the least we were sick considering we just bought this home as our retirement home.  We are so relieved and grateful for Wade (foreman) in not only reassuring us that he would make it all right but I can honestly say I have never met anyone that takes more care and pride in doing a great job than Wade, he was absolutely amazing, even coming all the way back to our home on a Sunday to make sure the chimney wasn't leaking anymore and putting a final touch up on the new wood surrounding the chimney, even though that had NOTHING TO DO WITH REPLACING OUR ROOF!nTHANK GOODNESS FOR WADE!!!nnSo thank you Travis Smith Roofing you have some incredible people that work for you and they are doing you proud!nnPlease pass on a special thanks to Wade, Tim and the whole crew for the extra effort and sacrifice they made for us so we can sleep easier in or new home, they made a difference in our lives.nnThank You!nJoe & Dawn M.

Excellent Workmanship! Friendly! We love our new roof!

Travis Smith Roofing did more than replace our roof!!!!nIn April we had extensive wind damage to the roof of our home. The back side of our roof had over 30 missing shingles and more lifting up or missing over our roof entire roof. Our insurance company refused to replace our roof.nWithout Jeff and the team at Travis Smith Roofing we would not have gotten the insurance company to do what they should have done from the start which was replace our entire roof.nWhen they first denied replacing our entire roof and wanted us to just patch in the missing shingles, Jeff and his team helped me get the insurance company to send out a different adjuster. When they still refused he helped me find a public adjuster. When my adjuster and the insurance company's adjuster didn't agree they helped my get an umpire who was our last hope.nAfter 6 months, countless calls and meetings with adjusters and arguing with our insurance company, all of which Jeff from Travis Smith Roofing helped with, the umpire finally approved replacing our roof.nThe decision took so much stress and worry from my husband and I. But then I learned that the amount approved was not exactly what the bid was for. Jeff once again had our backs and made it happen within what the umpire approved.nThe job they did was PHENOMENAL but it was more than a roof replacement... All the guys I met and worked with were kind, professional, they set the example for doing what was right, they went WAY above and FAR beyond what I ever expected in a roofing company and the integrity they showed is unmatched.nIf I could give more than 5 stars I would, if we ever need work done again they are who I will call and I will recommend them to anyone!!!! I went to Travis Smith last summer to get my roof repaired after the huge storm that hit Wisconsin in july. After alot of a lot of issues from insurance they got my roof repair done spectacularly. They were quick and curtious. They made sure everything was cleaned up when done. Once we were done we had problems getting insurance to pay. Well they stuck with me for 4 months all the while fighting with me to get so it did not fall upon me to pay. Well after all that we finally got it settled. If not for Jeff I would have ended up paying for what was an act of nature. I cannot say enough good things about them.
