Black Hat was a find for my wife. She knows and loves rocks. Black Hat is like Sam's Club (with no membership fee ) for rocks. They sell wholesale. So, if you want to buy stones, dinosaur bones or petrified wood, check out Black Hat Trading.
Awesome bead store. They have a nice variety of beads and jewelry making supplies, as well as rocks, things made out of gemstones, and premade jewelry. You can get sterling silver jewelry supplies also. The staff is very knowledgeable, too. My family goes here almost every time we travel to Deming!
