I have to say, I LOVE the South Beloit Public Library!! The staff are incredible, especially these past months during the pandemic. You can tell that they genuinely want each patron to have a good experience. Even though the local holdings are modest due, I'm sure, to the library's small physical footprint, they have great collections of popular authors and literary classics. The staff also do an excellent job of procuring current bestsellers, and one benefit of this being a small library is that you can often get your hands on those in-demand releases without having to wait very long. And, of course, if you're looking for something they don't have on-site, they can generally get it for you in a couple days via the wondrously efficient inter-library loan system. I could go on and on--a fantastic DVD/Blu-Ray collection, loads of magazines and periodicals, etc., etc. I mean, for real: It sometimes it seems like this library, just a short drive from my home, is too good to be true! Thank you, South Beloit Library staff!!!! Keep up the great work!!!
I love our small library in South Beloit! The staff is helpful and kind. They have many programs to enrich our children and make reading more exciting for the newest generation. They also have book clubs and programs for school aged and adult residents.
Came to use the computer to do a cover letter the lady pushed me off right in the middle of typing it after 30mins. Didn’t inform me that I only had 30mins on the computer. It wasn’t like anyone was waiting for it, it’s was other computers available. I was the only one in there... just sad
Very nice people, helped me right away!
Not a bad library as far as books, computers and resources go, but I've been to taverns where people had more respect for people! I've never been to a louder more disrespectful library in my entire life. If you're looking for a place to go study or concentrate, this is Definitely not the place for you.
