Pretty standard as far as Park N Rides go, with the exception that there is a Sheriff station nearby. Not sure if it means it is safer, but it sure feels that way. This lot is a fair distance off I94, which I actually consider a benefit since it's away from much of the I94 traffic visiting the fuel stations nearby. Access to this lot is still easy and there are plenty of parking spaces. I have left my car for 2 nights and everything was fine when I returned.
I leave my vehicle here almost every work day. And it is always untouched when I return. I often see police across the street from here leaving me with a secure feeling of leaving my vehicle in a random parking lot.
Of all the Park & Rides this one has the highest Police presence which gives you a better piece of mind when leaving your car here for a few hours
I love that park & rides are available and that they are no cost!
Traditional park and ride but very dated. Racine would rather use money to build pointless roundabouts everywhere including the middle of the cornfields, than improve the same park and ride as the day it was opened. If you would like to view pointless roundabouts look no further than the one right in front of the park and ride and several others if you travel west of the roundabout.
