I would not recommend this contractor. Work was performed prior to pulling permits. When permits were pulled, 6 weeks later, we then waited on inspection for over 6 weeks. Wellcraft continued to blame the city inspector instead of taking personal ownership to go down to the inspectors office to determine if there was an issue. Owner (Mark) became agressive, blaming me and the city and threating legal action to get payment, without the job passing inspection. I was told by Mark that additional work would be required to pass inspection and Wellcraft sent another invoice prior to doing the necessary work.nnI took the action to work with the city to move this forward and handled the remaining work through another channel.nnNOTE: Lesson learned, the contractor should know what they touch (directly and indirectly) is going to be subject to inspection and needs to be up to code.
