Our daughter needed three crowns and a tooth extraction that her regular dentist couldn’t do. We were referred to first impressions with no other option. The woman who runs the front desk, paperwork, etc. was rude and a nightmare to deal with. After we finally got all the insurance, etc figured out and my daughter was able to get her procedure done they never called to follow up. Three crowns and a tooth extraction for a 6 year old and no one bothered to call to ask us how she’s doing, if we have any concerns, what her current condition is, or if we would like her to be seen for a follow up exam. We finally called our regular dentist with our update and they said she should be seen by a pediatric dentist ASAP. It will not be first impressions. The doctors were cordial and did a fine job, but the practice itself is obviously people just going through the motions of running a franchise dentistry business $$$. Our regular dentist said they’ve had an increase in these types of complaints and they may be forced to stop recommending first impressions to their patients if the standard level of care no longer matches their own.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE customer service. We were referred by our daughters regular dentist to First Impressions. Our initial visit was great. We were told our daughter would need procedures that would best be done at a surgical center. We were told they would take care of all the medical and dental insurance. We were told we could have the procedure done at our regular hospital... nope. Apparently the specific doctor doesn’t go there. Now we have to go to a hospital that’s further away because that’s where that doctor goes. I’m now responsible to contact our health insurance for every specific charge from the hospital, making sure the hospital is in network. Then while talking to our health insurance there was never a pre-authorization done. I called First Impressions and they said, well that’s no problem, the procedures haven’t been done yet; except the procedures are 5 days away and insurance said it can take up to a week. Then we called because we were out of town and our daughters cavity was causing her so much pain she was crying. We tried 3 different times to get them to understand she needed something for the pain. We were told the girl who does the surgical scheduling is the one who would take care of that. They never took care of it. We contacted our regular dentist and they contacted First Impressions who told them they had talked to us about our daughters pain, which as I stated was NEVER taken care of. I would have given this zero stars if that was possible.

I love how they make sure your child is comfortable, and if not they make them comfortable. They are so nice; and always listen what you have to say and give you excellent fact sheets on dental needs and ways of doing them. I enjoy them asking questions and I love how they ask do you have any concerns about your child’s health, or changes in anything or medications so they can be more aware of things and in the loop. They don’t make you feel bad for asking questions they encourage it. They are just all about the kids and that was really just my first impression of how I perceived this pediatric dentist. We love First Impressions!!!

My kids were semi scared and nervous about getting a filling. But the staff at First Impressions was phenomenal and so very helpful. The friendliness is like no other!! Highly reccomend!!!

I have been taking my kids to First Impressions since they were a year old & I'm glad I did! They love their dentist (Dr. Josh). All the assistants are amazing as well! They respect my children's wishes & treat them like they are their own kids. And the receptionists are friendly, greeting you as soon as you walk in & talk to you as if you're just a normal person, not just a client. Most recently, talked with Stephonie & she has EXCELLENT customer service/communication skills!
