Dennis Kaster at Advanced Physical Therapy Associates has been so helpful for me to recover quickly and greatly minimize my neck pain and headaches. He is extremely easy to work with and listens to you, as a patient, to customize your treatment for whatever is best for YOU. He and his staff are willing to do whatever works for you as far as scheduling. I have already recommended other people to see him and they have also had immediate results and a great experience! I broke my shoulder the end of October, It took two months to heal. I had to keep my arm immobile during this time so my shoulder could heal on its own. my broken shoulder healed but my shoulder become frozen and I was not able to move it at all and I had to have surgery. I was having therapy twice a week and doing therapy on my own as well at home twice a day to try to keep my arm from not becoming frozen again. It has been the most terrible pain I have ever had to go through. After Covid 19 my physical therapy office decided as well as many in my community that physical therapy for my condition was not essential. I don't know what I would have done if I had not found Advanced Physical Therapy Associates and been put under the care of Dennis Kastner. I was in bad shape when I came to there office. The therapy I was getting up until this point was not helping much. Dennis went the extra mile and helped to get my pain under control first with myofacial tissue release working on issues I had with many other areas in my arm, shoulder blade. and neck. Dennis also did dry needling to help with the tight muscles I had. I could go on and on, I have been going for only a few weeks and the amount of progress I have seen is nothing short of a miracle. When I first started coming to Advanced Physical Therapy Associates I was sleeping in my rocker recliner for only a few hours a night because the pain was horrible, I could not put my hair up in a ponytail at all, and I was taking pain pills regularly to make it through the days and nights. Finally after 6 months I'm able to sleep in my bed again. I can put my hair in a ponytail. I'm no longer on pain pills. After experiencing neck pain and mid back numbness I went to the ER then followed up with my PCP and was then referred to a specialist. After having multiple MRI's and other expensive testing and waiting a month to see a specialist nothing abnormal was found.nnI was then referred to Dennis at Physical Therapy Associates. After just a couple of visits with Dennis I began to see my symptoms improve. He is knowledgeable, caring and understood my goals of being able to maintain fitness and do everything possible to safely resume activity.nnEven though the doctors I saw prior to being referred to physical therapy were great I wish that I would have known that physical therapy was an option to try prior to having to wait to see a specialist and get expensive testing done.nnI am very pleased with my results and I would definitely recommend Dennis at Physical Therapy Associates.
